Description:

Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Administrator to join our team. You will join us on a full-time basis in Toronto, Ontario as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of $45,000 CAD depending on your experience.
Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
As a Fundraising Administrator, the successful candidate will play an integral role in contributing towards the development, maintenance and delivery of the charitys fundraising plan in the region as well as to provide administrative support and oversight, while providing efficient support to fundraisers in the region and managing regional office requirements by acting as a central point of contact/support from the Head office, exploring new innovative fundraising opportunities, preparing fundraising resources , procurement of said resources, and collecting of information such as queries and complaints. All in order to, ensure the smooth running of FR operations, establish lines of communication, ensure value for money, and promote a positive working environment.
We are ideally looking to appoint this role to somebody immediately.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Fundraising Administrator:

  • Provide administrative support and oversight in a timely fashion
  • Suggest new innovative fundraising opportunities
  • Prepare FR resources , procurement, information collating (FR database) management, action queries and complaints in a timely fashion
  • Deliver business continuity in FR Admin operations in general. Proactively establishing consistent clear lines of communication

What were looking for in our Fundraising Administrator:

  • Preferably educated to a degree level
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar post
  • Computer literate and competent with Microsoft products
  • Fluent in English, and knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic /Urdu/Bengali &

Gujarati is desirable

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector

Our Greatest Achievements Include:

  • Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials

  • Restoring safe and secure residential spaces in Syria, like the construction of a new town with 1,000 newly constructed homes in Al Zahoor
