Furniture Production Assistant

ICS are a leading, innovative manufacturer of bespoke solid wood furniture. Our portfolio includes projects in Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. Our work can be seen in churches, cathedrals and public buildings throughout Ireland, the UK and beyond.

We’re seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to join our team and support the operations in our workshop. In this role, you’ll assist our skilled team members in crafting custom furniture while helping keep the workshop running smoothly. Your daily tasks will involve a mix of the following responsibilities:

• Production support may include preparing materials, operating machinery, coating, and finishing materials.
• Assisting with quality control in identifying and reporting defects in materials and workmanship.
• Ensuring the shop’s safety by maintaining a clean and organised space, following all safety procedures.
• Loading and unloading materials, preparing finished products for delivery.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Similar experience in previous roles is highly preferred
• Ability to execute tasks with thought and attention to detail
• Determination to further their skill set and knowledge by being hands on
• Ability to grasp instruction and show initiative
• An awareness for health and safety practices within the building industry
• Punctuality and a can-do attitude
