Responsibilities:
The Functional Safety Manager (FuSa) is responsible for supporting function owners, BTVs and system architects in the interpretation and application of functional safety processes and methods.
Supports the project team in the implementation of functional safety management.
Work with the project team on the applicability and optimisation of processes developed based on project experience.
Selects and updates the measures and techniques required by the ISO 26262 standard.
Adapts the development process with regard to functional safety.
Defines the list of functional safety documents to be created.
Ensures compliance with the general quality objectives in accordance with the applicable quality standards.
Responsible for reviewing the implementation of safety measures during the project and product release.
Plans and coordinates safety activities.
Creates and maintains the safety plan.
Manages all functional safety work products.
Facilitates analysis sessions and conducts safety analyses.
Organises reviews, audits and safety assessments.
Interfaces with customers and suppliers for functional safety.
Maintains the safety case.
