Join us in this crucial role as a Home Future Underwriting Lead within Pricing & Underwriting for Home & Growth. You will be working alongside a team of underwriters and portfolio managers who are responsible for ensuring profitable growth of the home portfolio.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a valued member of the team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of the Home Insurance strategy by providing leadership of the Home Underwriting team responsible for growth of DLG’s home insurance portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of brand & product specific underwriting strategies tailored to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Identify opportunities for sustainable growth and profitable expansion of footprint.
  • Complete financial assessment and impact assessment of any changes proposed.
  • Provide ownership of question sets, product cover limits and product tiers, ensuring they remain appropriate and well maintained.
  • Ensure adherence with governance and controls including thorough documentation and management of underwriting criteria, underwriting rules and decisions made.
  • Ensure all policies written within DLG’s risk appetite.
