We are seeking applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds. As this program contains fast-tracked learning, you will need to commit to attendance, be adaptable to your working roster and live local to the FutureFit Academy.

To be eligible for this role, you will be required to:

• Relocate to Mackay if necessary. Transport or accommodation is not provided by BHP for these positions. You will also be required to live within a maximum of 1 hours driving distance to the Academy.
• Be highly commitment to safety.
• Have an interest in problem solving and working on the tools.
• Be motivated to learn new skills and knowledge, whilst enjoying a mixture of classroom and hands-on learning.
• Have prior experience working on machinery/vehicles as a job or personal hobby (highly regarded, but not mandatory).
• Complete a range of background checks to determine suitability including police / criminal history checks, medical, drug and alcohol testing, due diligence checks, right to work checks, and/or reference checks.\
