JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Vice President in the Futures & Options Execution Sales team you would be responsible for managing relationships across a deep and diverse client base and you be at the forefront in connecting them with our product offering – especially in Equities. You will also need to work with our internal trading and sales partners. We have built a strong block offering capabilities to suit client requirements and exchange product developments in the region. Maximizing our revenue opportunities with the platform is a key in this role.
In addition, engaging with daily orderbook management of the execution desk, client coverage and order execution are also fundamental to the role. We operate with 24/5 global execution coverage model and require strong partnership skills to work with our global peers. While focus on regional Equity futures rolls will be key, our business goes beyond plain execution and provides value added sales services to our clients. At the same time, strong attention to risk control is critical. You will be asked not only to identify and understand the risks we run but also to mitigate them proactively. Strong understanding of exchange rules and local regulatory environment is also a must.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Financial Industry or role involving direct client sales and account management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of electronic trading, information flow and trading cycle
  • Strong client presentation skills. Strong understand of nuances of APAC client protocols and built trust and win respect.
  • Strong understanding of Futures and Options equity product and regulation, and ability to run product initiatives.
  • Understands complexity of risk factors we face and can discuss in detail ways of managing such risk.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients in a high-pressure environment, manage trading risk and drive revenue growth
  • Strong competency in dealing platforms and market practices as determined by regulators
  • Sound control processes and accuracy of execution
  • Currently holds or be willing to quickly obtain necessary licenses to perform regulated activities in Singapore
  • Team player, people leader, welcomes feedback, fast learner

Responsibilities:

  • Driving growth through superior service focusing on clients trading into Asia markets while managing existing client relationships and developing new ones leveraging our best-in-class offering
  • Developing and established key global relationships in Futures and Options markets
  • Engaging with daily orderbook management and client coverage, focusing on value added service and risk control.
  • Delivering the global product agenda to the team in the region. Resolve and settle issues jointly where needed.
  • Client engagement and coverage for best execution in Listed Derivatives markets including use of Algorithms, discussing market structure and mechanics of trading, managing market risk, contingency execution of client orders, and post-trade analytics
  • Understanding client needs, conducting regular reviews, planning revenue/cost analysis and assist clients in communicating their product needs and liaising with relevant product/business teams to develop/innovate platform product to drive electronic trading business
  • Management and execution of client orders across major markets and asset classes
  • Strong understanding of Futures rolls and swap execution.
  • Understanding the firm’s approach and policies for managing market risk and regulatory requirements. Interfacing with Audit and Compliance departments to ensure that Exchange and Regulator inquiries are addressed. Ensuring that procedures and operations are compliant to internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Ensuring we apply highest standard in control items and comply with regulatory requirements and follows policies.
