FX DEALER – MELBOURNE (MANDARIN SPEAKING)

In this role, you will work with a portfolio of clients with a mixture of English and Mandarin language preferences. Your clients will look to you for help in managing their foreign exchange exposure against their business objectives. You are also expected to actively service these clients on their payment requirements on both our online and offline channels, adapting new technologies to better service the client base.
In your role as an FX Dealer, you will be:
- Providing expertise in the areas of corporate foreign exchange and payment solutions to our SME & corporate clients
- Client relationship management
- Booking FX deals over the phone for customers
- Hedging discovery and product upsell
- Monitoring market conditions
- You will also be essential to the strategy of digitalizing our customer bases to drive servicing efficiency
- This is a Hybrid role, split between our Melbourne CBD office, and work from home.
You will ideally have:
- You must have written and spoken Mandarin language skills to be considered for this role. Please make this clear on your application. Cantonese also desirable but Mandarin essential.
- This is not a junior role, experience in the Foreign Exchange industry or a similar finance or markets role is required to be considered
- Comfortable on the phone with corporate clients to explore their needs and present solutions
- Degree preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication and listening skills
- The ability to network and build internal and external relationships at all levels
- Effective time management skills and solid computer skills with the ability to use MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint are required.
- You must have existing working rights in Australia to be considered
