The Finance Assistant will provide effective support for maintaining accurate and timely financial records tracking and processing financial transactions for the company.
- Data entry into accounting systems (Sage x3)
- Ensuring accurate bookkeeping
- Supporting external audits
- Creating tax documentation
- Assist with Payroll Management
- Account receivable management
- Preparing bank deposits and upload of same on bank portal.
- Entering vendor invoices and other disbursement requests into accounting software
- Petty cash management.
- Maintaining financial files
- Prepare spreadsheets, collect data, and explain transactions
- Management of company’s CUG (Corporate user group) and respond to employees’ complaints.
- And any other related roles.
- HND/ BSC in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 1-2 years of experience in Financial Management.
- Must reside in Ikeja and it environ
- High level of confidentiality
- Good with any of the financial software
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills (Double entry principle essential)
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail-oriented, precise, organized, and proactive
