Description:
GAME MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
Location: Puttshack UK Venues, Innovation Centre (Corby) and Puttshack HQ.
Job Type: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (inclusive of a 1-hour break per day), Wednesday – Sunday.
Division: Software team.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year of experience working within a software or technical environment, in a similar position.
- Strong grasp of industrial automation and IT skills, including familiarity with Windows, servers, Linux, virtualization, and networking.
- Experience with The Internet of Things (IoT) and ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical staff.
- Proficiency in soldering and troubleshooting intermediate-level electrical systems, particularly when repairing or replacing LED lighting strips.
- Experience using a multimeter device for diagnostics and repairs is required.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and wire strippers, as well as other tools commonly required by electricians for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and able to work effectively in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with FTP and SQL Server systems
