You may need to undergo initial training and adapt to workflows within other project teams before starting in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the full process of game planning, design, development, and testing.
  • Design and develop game systems, ensuring smooth gameplay and playability.
  • Adjust and balance game metrics to ensure sustainability and a great player experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, analyze competitors and market conditions, and adjust product strategies to improve user retention and revenue.
  • Prepare and review project development plans, control the overall progress and quality of the project, supervise and guide the team, and be responsible for the final outcome of the project.
  • Other tasks assigned by the team.

Requirements:

  • Passion for gaming, with deep experience in mainstream SLG game types; entrepreneurial spirit, industry sensitivity, and a broad vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least 5 years of core game planning experience, including designing at least one complete SLG project.
  • Extensive gaming experience; led at least one successful game product as a producer or project manager (preferably with a significant revenue milestone).
  • Excellent communication and learning skills, with a clear and logical thought process and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with the game development process and the ability to evaluate the technical costs of ideas.
  • Outstanding management skills, personal charisma, and the ability to enhance team cohesion and motivate project members.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada without any sponsorship from the employer.
