Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Garment Technician to join our Design & Production team while working across our entire range.
This is a fast paced position working alongside another garment technician, garment tech assistant and closely with various teams within our business.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role ideally within the fast fashion industry
- Tertiary education in Design, Pattern making and Grading is essential
- A genuine awareness of trends and the ability to incorporate this into fit sessions
- Strong industry leading software and technology skills (e.g. Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite);
- Experience in Pattern making, and Grading is essential
- Tech pack and garment spec knowledge is essential
- Experience working across a variety of categories is essential
- In-depth knowledge and experience in fabric testing, textile properties and quality assurance
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to adhere to critical path deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Design and production team to transition from initial concepts through to final sample, reporting directly into the Design and production Manager
- Creating initial Tech Packs in conjunction with design for sample development
- Measuring garments and commenting on manufacturing finishes for all sampling
- Conduct fit meetings and communication of comments to off-shore factories
- Liaising daily with suppliers in China in regards to re-fits, fabrics, finishes and grading
- Constant communication with Production team to keep on track with timelines and critical paths
