Description:

MISSION

The Garment Technologist will provide support to the Product Developer and play a critical role in the expansion of the Stanley/Stella brand.
You will be the owner of the garment for the fit and construction standards across multiple categories and countries. Apart from your own team, you will work closely across different departments.
You will work in accordance to Stanley/Stella’s DNA, Brand Values and attitude as a foundation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain tech packs including garment construction, sketches, graded measurement charts, fit comments, and pattern corrections in PLM/company systems
  • Communicate fit revisions to factories through pattern corrections and images.
  • Track and manage samples along with the Product Developer to ensure seasonal deadlines are met.
  • Maintain fit consistency based on category history, block patterns and standards specs across different collections and production countries.
  • Resolve fit and construction issues using appropriate resources.
  • Onsite trips to production countries for pattern checking, pattern alignment and quality assurance
  • Identify potential production/quality issues and make appropriate recommendations while maintaining design and fit intent.
  • Organize and lead fit sessions.
  • Research competitors, trends, and new technologies in the industry.
  • Work closely also with Design, Product Managers, and support to Marketing where needed.
