JOB DESCRIPTION

JPMorgan Chase is looking for an experienced Wage Garnishment Analyst to process and reconcile our wage garnishments in coordination with our third party vendor. This position will focus on garnishment compliance, and timely processing of court orders and responses.
As a Wage Garnishment Operations Analyst within our Payroll team, you will have the opportunity to ensure accurate and timely processing of US employee’s garnishments across all states in North America. We value good communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. In this role, you will provide quality support and case management services to our employees and key stakeholders, playing a crucial part in our operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • 3+ years of processing garnishments
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to work independently with an attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Oracle HCM Experience preferred
  • Knowledge in large multi-state payroll and garnishment environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Notary Public preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Processing/sorting of mailed/digital garnishment orders
  • Researching, analyzing, and resolving payroll related issues associated with multiple types of Wage Garnishments and State requirements
  • Possesses knowledge of administration and processing of wage garnishments calculations and rules in accordance with federal and state laws
  • Effectively partner with ADP to ensure garnishments are set up appropriately in payroll system
  • Maintains confidentiality related to employee’s garnishment information
  • Reply to garnishment related inquiries from internal and external customers on status and other general inquiries
  • Established ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers and with all levels of employees
  • Troubleshoot issues/errors and provide solutions
  • Perform quality reviews to test adherence to established policies
  • Analyze output from audits and be proactive in researching areas of concern by following through on analysis and recommendations for improvements
  • Understanding of garnishment calculations related to payroll processing
