What you’ll do:
The Gas Bar Supervisor will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand.
- Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety
- Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto
- Accurate dispensing of fuel products (gasoline/diesel/propane)
- Accurate handling of cash and sales (including lotto and tobacco)
- Day-to-day operations of the Department (including scheduling, ensuring orders are placed, image and standards etc.)
- Production, packaging, and merchandising of products
- Assisting with tracking training certificates for team members
- Accurate ordering and receiving and merchandising of product
- Provide coaching, direction and guidance for team members in the gas bar
- Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations
- Support/conduct the interviewing process for prospective team members as well as the Performance Review Process
- Commitment to ongoing development including an Individual Development Plan (IDP)
- Other projects and assignments as required
WHO YOU ARE:
We are looking for a positive, approachable and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

- Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills
- Quality communication skills
- Previous gas bar experience is an asset
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Willingness to participate in a Criminal Record Background Check
- A willingness to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends is a must. Shifts will be 40 hours per week.
- Previous supervisory experience is a definite asset
This is a full-time position, the candidate will have the ability to work evenings, days, and weekends.
