We are seeking an experienced and qualified Gas Engineer to support the maintenance, repair, and installation of gas systems across our holiday park. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all gas systems comply with industry standards, guaranteeing safety and comfort for our guests and staff.
The Person, Qualifications & Skills:
- Ensure excellent quality workmanship which upholds company standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer queries
- Be collaborative, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Current UK driving licence
- Must be highly competent (and confident)
- Gas Safe Registered with relevant qualifications in domestic gas installations (e.g., CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
- Proven experience in gas engineering, preferably in a similar environment such as holiday parks, hotels, or commercial/residential complexes.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices and gas safety regulations, including paperwork.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with occasional weekend availability as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of gas installations across the park.
- Respond promptly to gas-related issues and carry out necessary repairs to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Perform safety checks, compliance testing, and annual certifications in line with legal requirements.
- Install gas equipment and systems as needed, adhering to best practices and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all gas systems meet the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, services, and repairs.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed and support other departments to meet park-wide objectives.

- Support the company induction, including completion of mandatory safe and secure training.

- Complete all relevant administrative tasks, job sheets, timesheets, hours worked recorded, safety compliance checks and legislative compliance checks.
