We are currently seeking a Customer Service Agent to be based at our Dowlow Office in Buxton.
Working within a team in a fast-paced environment you will be responsible for dealing with customer orders, processing them, and arranging and allocating transport to cover all dry work from Dowlow and Ashwood dale Limestone Quarries.
The office also provides a distribution centre for a network of local concrete plants which we deliver to on a daily basis.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
- Focus on the customer relationship – maintain good customer relations and actively build new ones
- Effective time management, adhering to administrative policies and procedures
- Attention to detail to ensure all customer orders and haulier loads that are allocated and produced are accurate.
- Good Verbal skills are essential and knowledge of Aggregates and Asphalt is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- To positively represent the Breedon brand, the Customer Service Agent offers our customers an excellent and professional service.
- Ensure all incoming Telephone calls are answered in a timely manner, and all Customers orders, enquires, & queries and complaints are processed in an efficient manner.
- Proactive planning and allocating and tracking of orders to completion.
- Scheduling and rescheduling orders whilst utilising our haulage fleet effectively.
- Compiling and maintaining accurate records as required
- Communicating effectively with Commercial, Production, and Haulage Partners.
- Process order acknowledgments when POs received and confirm via notes on Excalibur.
- Respond to invoice queries within 7 days of them being added to your query log.
- Identifying and contributing to managing your own personal development.
