MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/DEGREE AND FIELD:
- Strong academic record with minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role, preferable oil & refined product knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Organize market data, analytics done by individual members of the team in a centralized repository
- Improve, build upon the existing analysis by studying correlations, second-order effects, quantifying risk-reward metrics etc.
- Assisting in pricing, executing transactions particularly in oil options – vanilla and exotic
- Executing and booking of flow-based trades across oil complex
- Understanding commodities market fundamentals and trends and communicating information succinctly to salespeople and clientsProducing commentary ranging from a variety of client e-mails to weekly and monthly strategy performance updates
