Description:

SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable/Collection functions ensuring all contract compliance requirements are completed, proper accounting of contract reconciliations, and collection of outstanding receivables. Also responsible for handling routine outbound/inbound call and e-mail correspondence at any stage of delinquency, up to and including pre-charge off and the recovery area.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related course
  • One (1) to two (2) years work experience in a clerical/support role or in a corporate accounting or billing department
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Active listening and phone handling skills
  • Knowledgeable of business etiquette across various correspondence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet
  • Conflict Resolution - Ability to persuade and negotiate with clients
  • Ability to control and respond quickly to a stressful/difficult situation
  • Customer service focus
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Maintains high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
