Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent and clear communication between on property commercial team and The Cluster
- Ensure alignment of all stakeholders on commercial strategy
- Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting
- Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures
- Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks
- Ensure that relevant commercial team members (on property & within the The Cluster) are actively engaged in all GC&E strategic decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement, drive and review optimal GC&E strategies and controls
- Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed our stakeholder’s expectations
- Ownership of Demand Calendar ensuring relevant and up-to-date pricing strategy as agreed with hotel commercial team
- Analysis and Reporting: Prepares reporting and provides critical analysis to support commercial decisions regarding GC&E strategies
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepares all weekly and monthly C&E forecasts and supports with yearly budgets as appropriate using standard systems and tools
- Quote rates independently, only if over threshold that the stakeholder approval is required
- Providing on the Job Coaching / Training to the GC&E team
- Coaching GC&E Manager, supporting with the leadership/recruitment of the GC&E team.
- Commercial coaching of the GC&E Manager.
- Contribute to the Leadership team of The Cluster, drive Commercial, and Team activities (Conversion weeks, celebrations…)
