Description:
We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified GSI and Community Engagement Specialist for developing and implementing the Program’s (PINZ) gender equity and social inclusion (GSI) strategy, and mainstreaming GSI across the program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice to the PINZ management team to ensure PINZ programming reflects the core principles and priorities of MFAT’s GSI policy
- Lead the development of a Community Engagement and GSI Action Plan
- Implement communication and/or GSI activities as stated in the Community Engagement and GSI Action Plans
- Ensure GSI is embedded in the programme planning, implementation, theory of change, and integrated into the MERL framework
- Develop tools and implement capacity building activities
- Lead engagement and foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships with a wide range of sector stakeholders
