Arch Beauty Therapy, a leading name in beauty and wellness, is seeking a skilled general accountant to join our growing team in Perth. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to the financial success and compliance of our business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA certification preferred).
• Proven experience in financial management, internal auditing, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks) and strong understanding of Australian accounting standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

• Financial management and reporting:
• Assist in formulating budgetary and accounting policies.
• Prepare financial statements for presentation to the board of directors, management, shareholders, and governing/statutory bodies.
• Conduct financial investigations and audits, and prepare detailed reports on matters such as mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, and insolvency.
• Assess the cash flow and assess the financial risk of capital investment projects.
• Taxation and Compliance:
• Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans, and operations.
• Prepare taxation returns for individuals and organizations while ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws and government policies.
• Liaise with external tax agents for year-end reporting and tax submissions.
• Auditing and Internal Controls:
• Conduct internal audits to maintain compliance and financial accuracy.
• Maintain internal control systems and provide assurance about the accuracy of financial reports.
• Examine operating costs, income, and expenditure to identify areas for improvement.
• System implementation and liaison:
• Introduce and maintain accounting systems, advising on the selection and application of computer-based solutions.
• Liaise with financial institutions and brokers to establish fund management arrangements.
• Collaborate with management to improve cost-efficiency and financial practices.
