Description:

Clearway is one of the UK’s most successful, innovative, and rapidly expanding integrated security services and intelligent protection organisations – working to protect people, property, and assets. Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team based at our Runcorn depot.
This General Assistant will support daily operations, including loading and unloading vehicles, yard marshalling, and assisting the Quality and Maintenance Manager as required. The successful candidate will play a key role in the deployment of CCTV cameras, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Forklift Licence (essential).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or yard-based role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and a commitment to working in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • A willingness to listen, take instruction, and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Good timekeeping, reliability, and self-motivation to succeed in tasks.
  • Physically fit and strong enough to handle regular lifting of heavy items
  • CSCS card or prepared to undergo training to gain a CSCS card (training cost covered by the company).
  • Trustworthy and capable of building strong relationships with team members and clients.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Yard Marshalling: Oversee vehicle movements in the yard to maintain efficiency and safety.
  • Logistics Support: Assist with the preparation and deployment of CCTV cameras.
  • General Maintenance: Support the Quality and Maintenance Manager with daily tasks.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
