General Assistant - Laundry

We are looking for employees who have a passion for cleaning, we will provide you with full training and unlike other care homes provide our employees with a minimum of two hours per week of dedicated development and one to one time with residents.
We believe that each resident should enjoy the highest possible quality of life, surrounded by love, friendship and support within a Christian environment.
Working as part of a team and being responsible to the Domestic supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the home is cleaned to a high standard and it is properly maintained including attention to matters of health & safety and hygiene regulations. The main duties & responsibilities are found within the job description.
You will need good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with older people, some of whom are living with Dementia. Ability to work comfortably in a Christian environment, operate within professional boundaries and within Older People Services Values are necessary prerequisites for the post.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of COSHH, the Ability to lone work and under pressure, a flexible approach and good time keeping skills. Training will be provided.
