General Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at one of our sites in Harrogate,HG1.
37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, £11.50 per hour.
The shift pattern will vary between 7am - 3pm or 11:30am - 7:30pm

This role includes supporting the kitchen and the Front of House team with general food preparation, serving food and cleaning. There will be a requirement to work as part of the team when clearing down after service which may include washing pots using a dishwasher.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment
• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
• Have excellent customer service and social skills
• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
• Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 20
• Be customer focused
• Have basic food knowledge
• Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
