Description:
We are seeking to recruit a full-time (37.5 hours) Clerical Officer to work in our Child Health Services in the Community Mental Health Division at Sheffield Children’s NHS FT. You will be based at Centenary House in Hillsborough.
The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, patient focussed and providing on-going support to line management.
You will work with other team members and as part of the wider administrative team, supporting the administrative function and provision of Child Health Information Services.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate initiative and work to high standards of accuracy and reliability. With experience of working in an office environment, you will be able to deal with interruptions whilst multi-tasking to support your immediate Line manager and Service manager.
You should be computer literate, have excellent organisational skills and have experience of working in a fast paced office environment.
The post holder should exercise initiative within the role, and it is vital that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Responsibility for maintaining daily validations of children registered on the Child Health Information System.
Support the daily administrative function relating to the Newborn Infant Physical Examination results.
Support the administrative function relating to Newborn Hearing Screening results.
To support the registration of new births onto the Child Health Information System
Data input of immunisations and on the Child Health IT System within a specified time limit in order to enable the Child Health IT System to generate further vaccination appointments accurately.
Process weekly error reports from GP practices within the given timeframe.
Record results of neonatal new born screening onto Child Health Information System
Transfer patient records of pre-school children in Sheffield.
Process weekly validation and data quality lists.
Provide support to team as needed.
