Responsibilities:
As the General Counsel for Crown Melbourne, you’ll lead the charge in providing timely, commercially focused legal advice to the Board, stakeholders and the business, ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual obligations, and navigating legal risks across various business functions. From gaming and liquor licensing to employment, litigation, and procurement, you’ll spearhead legal strategy and execution and provide key legal and strategic advice throughout the senior levels of our business.
This role will report into the Group General Counsel and will be joining a progressive, dynamic, and supportive legal team that thrives on supporting and engaging with senior leaders in the business.
Your responsibilities extend to managing external legal advisers and overall responsibilities for managing the legal affairs of Crown Melbourne. In this pivotal role, you will also play a crucial part in shaping and implementing key strategies and enjoy a dynamic working environment with senior management. In addition to your general counsel activities, you will also be responsible for Company Secretary duties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the Board and its committees effectively.
