SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs) and perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in warehouse or general labor roles is preferred but not required.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in warehouse environments.
- Driver’s License (Optional): A valid driver’s license is a plus for occasional transport duties.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet operational goals.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure the accuracy of work.
Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products or materials within the warehouse. Assist with product staging and sorting in preparation for shipment or storage.
- Inventory Support: Assist in inventory management, including checking product quantities and ensuring accurate labeling and tracking.
- Packaging and Assembly: Help prepare items for shipment, ensuring packaging is done according to company standards to prevent damage during transportation.
- General Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe by performing regular housekeeping duties. Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
- Sustainability Practices: Contribute to Second Bind’s sustainability goals by participating in waste reduction and recycling programs within the warehouse.
- Driving (Optional): Assist with transporting materials and products within the warehouse or to off-site locations as needed. A valid driver’s license is a plus.
