ABOUT THE POSITION:

The General Manager is the single point of accountability for the business including sales growth, hitting KPIs, training and development, and maintaining a smooth operation. This position requires a leader who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and has proven strong organizational and people skills in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. We are looking for a person who responds positively to challenges and has experience working with competing priorities.
DAYS/HOURS: 45-50 hours per week (Flexibility for Monday - Sunday)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Set and Hold Accountable to the following Company Standards:
  • Facility Standards, Operational Process Standards, Equipment Standards, Safety Standards, Training Standards, Implement Junktion Standards Companywide, Truck Claims Filing & Tracking
  • Keeping track of the company’s revenue margins and conducting budget reviews to maximize profits
  • Leading all operational staff meetings, focusing on metrics, goal setting, wins, and reviews on performance
  • Train and develop the operations and truck team staff to uphold performance excellence
  • Developing and executing new growth directives
  • Working with the People & Culture team to address hiring needs; including final in-person interviews
  • Oversee employee training programs
  • Conduct performance reviews based on a standardized schedule
  • Liaising with ownership to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide operational excellence
  • Enforcing operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and company policies are followed and enforced
  • Continuously drive and develop a positive culture among the field staff

The Qualifications you have:

  • 5+ years of General Management and Team Leadership experience
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines, required
  • Willingness to travel up to 3 times per year for leadership meetings
  • Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening, required
  • The ultimate drive to work in and contribute to a fast-paced company committed to the growth and development of its people
  • Ability to retain great people, drive positive results and achieve goals
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Proficiency in the use of G-Suite and Salesforce are assets
