Description:

Advantex is an innovative IT consultancy firm based in Singapore, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions and strategic IT services to our clients. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our business development efforts and drive our growth strategy.
The GM role will be responsible for spearheading our business development initiatives, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, international partnerships, and foreign market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development efforts with the company’s overall strategic goals.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process related to business development activities.
  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices in business development and sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or management role.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT consultancy or tech related role.
  • Able to travel frequently to meet with foreign stakeholders and partners.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and achieving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
