COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The General Manager (GM) of The Athlete Performance Center (APC) LA plays a crucial leadership role, responsible for guiding the vision, strategic development, and positioning of the APC within the sports and economic landscape, as well as overseeing team operations in Santa Monica, CA. The GM will lead a team of 20 staff members, oversee three specialized teams with their respective directors, and drive innovation and growth within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker and dynamic leader who will work closely with the global APC leadership to ensure our team remains a key player within Red Bull and the sports-world.
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of proven senior executive experience in managing high-profile sports organizations, demonstrating a track record of exceptional leadership and operational excellence.
Possession of a Ph.D. or advanced Master’s degree in Business, Management Studies, or a closely related discipline from a top-tier institution
Demonstrated ability to foster innovation and drive continuous improvement.
Expertise in diverse business functions, including finance, legal, human resources, marketing, and more
Lead and collaborate effectively within a complex, global organization, with a deep understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and international business practices.
Extensive and high-level professional network within the sports industry, with established connections to key influencers, organizations, and stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Superior strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
