We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead this product from development to market dominance.
Job Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the product’s lifecycle, including sales, operations, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in launching and leading products to become leaders in their fields, particularly those reliant on AI and cloud-based, subscription-based models.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in launching and scaling products to market leadership.
  • Strong technical background, particularly in AI, cloud-based, and subscription-based products.
  • Exceptional sales and marketing acumen with a track record of building and leading successful sales teams.
  • Financial expertise with experience driving products to profitability.
  • Well-connected within analyst communities.
  • Experience with entrepreneurial/start-up companies
  • Ability to relocate to or regularly commute to Saint John, NB.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the Business AI.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Route to Market Strategy: Develop and implement strategic routes to market for the new software solution.
  • Sales Hiring and Execution: Build and lead a high-performing sales team to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee financial operations, ensuring the product achieves and maintains profitability.
  • Product Leadership: Work with the Product Manager to guide all aspects of the product’s lifecycle, from development through to market launch and beyond.
  • Technical Savvy: Utilize strong technical knowledge to oversee the development and deployment of AI-driven, cloud-based solutions.
  • Analyst Relations: Leverage strong connections with industry analysts to drive market recognition /adoption.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager and Development team based in Saint John, NB, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product development and launch.
