JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager of the Cuisine Centre (Steamplicity & Commissary Operations) is responsible for leading the production of over 1 million patient-care meals annually and will oversee the creation of freshly prepared meals to support cross sector business within Compass.

- Prioritize health and safety through the proactive execution of safety programs and maintain all HSQA standards within a HACCP-level environment
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team, conducting performance reviews, setting expectations, and implementing training and development programs.
- Build an inclusive and supportive team culture that is focused on performance.
- Manage direct delivery systems servicing accounts across Southern Ontario
- Work with our COE and cross sector teams to identify and support new business opportunities
- Optimize operations, streamline processes, and enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial and industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in hospitality and/or engineering.
- Available to provide daily in-unit support with production starting at 6:00 a.m.
- Experience with large scale, fast paced, food production an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Intermediate level expertise with Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain excellent relationships with Compass associates, our Leadership team, vendors and customers.
- Strong problem solving, organization and coordination skills.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and supervisory abilities.
- Positive, energetic personality.
- Solid experience in fiscal management.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task.
