Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Building/Real Estate/Facilities Management or any other related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in residential or property management
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advantageous with strong knowledge in FEDA Licencing requirement
- Capable of managing emergencies and stressful situations effectively
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of multiple dormitories
- Leads and manages a team of dormitory staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Develops and enforces operational policies and procedures to ensure optimal management
- Operational Oversight
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and conformance to organizational standards
- Ensures facilities are well-maintained through regulation inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinates with external vendors and service providers for timely repairs and services
- Manages bed space allocation to optimize occupancy in accordance to organizational policies
- Resident Services
- Fosters a positive living environment by addressing resident needs and concerns promptly
- Develops and implements programs and initiatives to promote the resident well-being
- Oversees the resolution of conflicts and issues within the dormitory community
- Financial Management
- Prepares and manages budgets for dormitory operations
- Monitors financial performance and implements cost-control measures
- Manages financial records and ensures timely collection of payments
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensures adherence to health, safety, and security protocols
- Develops emergency response plans and conducts regular safety drills
- Maintains compliance with local and national regulations
- Community Engagement
- Promotes a sense of community among residents through organized events and activitiesActs as a liaison between the dormitory residents and other authorities / agencies
- Reporting & Analysis
Prepares regular reports on operational performance, resident satisfaction, and financial statusAnalyses operational data to identify improvement areas and implement strategic changes
