Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Overall Operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the company, managing all aspects efficiently.
  • Strategy and Growth: Design growth strategies and set goals to drive the company forward, ensuring long-term success.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, optimize expenses, and maintain financial health.
  • Policy Setting: Establish policies, evaluate operational processes, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • People Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, development, and high productivity among employees.
  • Project Management: Supervise construction projects to ensure timely completion, adherence to budget, and high quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Currently serving as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager with extensive experience in main contracting and new build projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of P&L management, cost control, and a background in Quantity Surveying (QS).
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Local Market Insight: In-depth knowledge of the local construction market.
  • Stability: Demonstrated career stability without frequent job changes.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
