THE POSITION

We are seeking a talented and progressive General Manager who is passionate about managing teams and day-to-day operations. You look for ways to streamline processes and are an expert at developing and executing on strategic plans. Taking direction from the CEO and board of directors, your tactical skills are second-to-none. You are known as being resilient and adaptive to those around you, with the ability to pivot when required.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management, leading diverse teams in a multi-unit environment
  • An undergraduate diploma or degree in Business Administration or related educational background (an asset)
  • Previous experience overseeing and managing P&L
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Able to develop and execute on action items linked to strategic planning initiatives
  • Transformational leadership style
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse team including subordinates, peers, and members of the leadership group
  • Familiarity with HR best practices related to team development and performance management
  • Commitment to world class customer service
