Mulpha is now seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our vision forward.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the Hotel or Hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of food and beverage and hotel management, with experience in regional operations or winery operations highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
A passion for wine, food, and luxury hospitality.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As the General Manager of Bimbadgen and Mulpha’s Hunter Valley Operations, you will be entrusted with the overall financial health and strategic growth of our winery and its associated venue. The portfolio includes: Bimbadgen Estate, Emma’s cottage, Alter wines, Emma’s function venue, A Day on the Green, Palmers Lane functions and our boutique hotel, The Lane Retreat.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven history in driving profitability, optimising operational efficiency, and guiding businesses towards sustained success and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership: Provide strategic direction and inspire a high-performing team across multiple departments.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the winery, food and beverage outlets, wedding venue, and boutique hotel, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for all areas of the business.
Sales & Marketing: Drive sales growth through innovative marketing strategies and strong customer relationships.
Guest Experience: Ensure an exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints, from dining to lodging to events.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and standards.
Sustainability: Promote and implement sustainable practices throughout the winery and hospitality operations.
