SKILLS

Given the offline nature of the business, it is required:

  • Minimum of 4 years managing people in Operations/Sales or similar GM position
  • Collaborative and self-motivated to take initiative, improve operations and regional successes by properly managing time, being extremely organized, providing results and meeting required deadlines
  • Proven records of sales management: origination and closing of the deals (multi-million deals possible)
  • Expert in reviewing and speaking to Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, budgets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank deposits, inventories and general accounting procedures
  • Must possess excellent analytical, proactive problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • High level of proficiency in employee relations, influence management, leadership, organization development, and change management
  • Strong coaching, counseling, listening, facilitation, negotiation, advocacy, and networking skills
  • Must possess good integrity and business judgment, team orientation, and goal orientation, with high personal productivity skills
  • Fluent proficiency in German (equivalent to native/bilingual), fluent proficiency in English

Responsibilities:

The right candidate will be involved in all aspects of the business and will have full responsibility for the DE P&L. Oppizi organizes itself along geographies and pursues most industry verticals. The role is to lead the German business unit serving various clients and offering data-driven offline marketing services at both national and local level:

  • Owner and responsible for the overall German operations: Set the mission and strategy with your team and oversee the results-driven execution in your market
  • Build, develop, and lead a team of smart and passionate people + work cross-functionally with the HQ / Marketing / Sales / Tech teams
  • Develop and scale our sales and account management muscle toward continued growth
  • Own full P&L responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the business and act as the office manager
