Anglicare Seniors Living is on a mission to revolutionise the experience of ageing in Australia. As part of our Seniors Living Leadership team, we are seeking a talented General Manager Quality, Safeguarding & Practice to lead best practice in clinical, care and services for older people and community clients, helping us set new standards in the seniors living sector.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Executive of Seniors Living, the General Manager will ensure our business unit is well supported to operate services under applicable regulatory standards and licencing requirements, embedding standardised practices aligned with Anglicare’s policies and procedures.

Other key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Collaborating with the leadership, operational, and head office teams to co-design processes for high-quality, sustainable care and services.
  • Engaging managers in continuous improvement programs to help improve resident and client outcomes.
  • Providing leadership to the Seniors Living Quality team and other areas of Anglicare to build capacity and capability.
  • Serving as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, overseeing inspections and audits.
  • Liaising with the Commission, NCAT, DCJ, and other regulatory bodies on quality issues, reporting to Management and operational teams as needed.

About You:

We are seeking an established quality and safeguarding leader with the following attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications, including a Master’s Degree in a Health-related field.
  • 10+ years’ leadership experience in Health or Aged Care Quality, Compliance, or Safeguarding roles.
  • Experience and knowledge across all Seniors Living offerings, including Retirement Living, Housing, Home Care, and Clinical Services. Residential Care experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in the Health / Aged Care sector in clinical and non-clinical operations, with a strong understanding of clinical frameworks and health literacy.
  • Proven skills in interacting and influencing stakeholders at various levels to achieve shared objectives.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality and compliance frameworks within a multifaceted organisation.
