Description:
Professional operational leadership of healthcare science staff whilst developing a service culture where everyone is valued, encourage staff to speak out when needed. Promote a culture of openness and transparency in the services. Providing a link to internal and external stakeholders (Trust partners, BSPS Executive and NHS England). To ensure KPIs/Referral to treatment national screen compliance are achieved and reported on, providing mitigations when they have not been reached.
To oversee the performance and quality within the Directorate by developing and promoting a clear sense of direction so that corporate and local objectives are met. To communicate difficult and contentious information on quality and performance in a sensitive manner, motivating and negotiating to effect sustained improvements
