REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Strong familiarity with supply chain operations across Asia and MENA.
  • Expertise in business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and strategic partner selection through tenders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end retail supply chain processes, including e-commerce and omnichannel logistics.
  • Proven ability to manage international stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple program streams effectively

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE

Education: Degree or similar professional degree from a university

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 15 years in international retail supply chain management, with a total career span of 15-20 years.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing supply chain transformations in MENA & Asia.
  • Experience in business case development and organizational change management.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The General Manager of Supply Chain Management is responsible for driving a future-ready supply chain through organizational development, operational optimization, digital transformation, and strategic partnerships. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, improving speed to market, and ensuring seamless execution in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include ensuring market synergy, delivering best practices and cost-effectiveness using financial modeling, business case development, tenders and procurement, and network modeling, and ensuring compliance with legal, process, and health and safety standards, all in alignment with the business strategic plan.
