QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in business administration or qualifying experience.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good observation skills.
  • An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
  • Computer literate and basic Math skills.
  • An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in business management or related field or equivalent years of experience in restaurant/bar management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 100% Walk and stand
  • 90% Communicate with Guests and Team Members
  • 50% Operate cash register, Point of Sale system, and cash handling
  • 25% Reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • 40+ hours per week without consecutive days off.

Responsibilities:

The General Manager is responsible for all financial and personnel related administrative duties, and ensure all are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. The following items are not meant to be an all inclusive list of responsibilities. Each day is different, and responsibilities are ever shifting.

  • On the floor presence interacting with guests and staff
  • Complete P&L accountability and management
  • Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
  • Ensuring proper training for new hires and new policy rollouts to all staff members.
  • Delegating daily tasks, and supporting front of house staff on the floor during peak periods.
  • Addressing any issues in a timely fashion.
  • Supervising staff and controlling merchandise.
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures and safety practices are followed.
  • Setting a good example for staff.
