WELCOME TO PUNTHILL SPRING HILL
Nestled just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Brisbane, Punthill Spring Hill provides all the comforts of home in spacious studio apartments, including king beds, private balconies, and fully-equipped kitchens. The hotel offers a pool, conference space, secure onsite parking, and easy access to public transport. As our only hotel in Queensland, it plays a vital role in our market presence, catering to both our corporate and leisure guests. Complimenting our accommodation offering is our onsite café, Jak+Hill, where our guests have enjoyed innovative modern Australian cuisine from breakfast to lunch since July 2023.
Due to recent team changes, we’re looking for a General Manager with experience in growing hotel and F&B profitability to join us. You’ll bring creativity in business improvement and confidence in managing projects, which is essential as we complete the final stages of a soft refurbishment. Your people-focused approach will foster a culture that shines through to our guests at every touchpoint. You’ll enjoy working independently while also being part of our growing group, with the opportunities for progression that it offers.

The successful person must have:
- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
- Willingness to obtain a Liquor Licence (at our expense)
- Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems complaints
- High standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience managing people in a customer service environment
