Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Carnsew Quarry (part of the Colas Ltd Group) is a quarrying business based near Falmouth, in Cornwall. We now have a permanent requirement for a Plant Operator to join a dedicated and hardworking team. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As Plant Operator, you will work in compliance with the Quarry Regulations 1999, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974,statutory obligations, company instructions, Manager’s Rules and safe working practices. The plant operator will operate equipment in strict compliance with manufacturer’s instructions and perform daily checks on plant and machinery. You will complete the required paperwork, assist the maintenance team, undertake sentry duties during blasting activities and attend inductions, toolbox talks and all appropriate briefings.
