POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a full-time or part-time General Practitioner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. We offer flexibility in hours and days of work, and we are open to various employment arrangements, including ownership or contractor options. In addition to General Practice, all our GPs contribute to our busy Urgent Care department, which operates from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Proven experience in General Practice with a dedication to high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding, patient-centered care across a diverse range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including Doctors, Nurses, Health Coaches, HIPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Clinical Assistants, PCPA’s, Paramedics and Social Worker.
- Contribute to the Urgent Care roster with one shift per month
- Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring their needs are always at the forefront of care.
