JOB SUMMARY:

Position Summary
This role is considered Hybrid, which means the employee will work 2-3 days onsite at a Company designated location and occasionally from home.
Our Generalist department is a very unique department. Here, Generalists independently build complete photorealistic environments that blend seamlessly with the plates, and take full ownership of the shots.
They demonstrate high skills in digital and traditional arts with an outstanding eye for composition and photographic details. The work varies a lot from set extension using Digital Matte Painting techniques to full CG environments.
The Generalist Supervisor is the cornerstone of the environment team for the show. They are involved early on in the show to discuss bidding and plan workflows for the environment build with the production team and the CG supervisor. They prepare the setups, templates and asset workflow so everything is ready to start when the team joins the show.
The Generalist Supervisor is an expert in their discipline, managing their team within the production schedule and driving them towards the visual style of the show, and also communicating with the show production and other departments involved. We are looking for someone very hands on the work, who is able to troubleshoot artists files as well as running the shot work when necessary.
