Generator Assembly and Winding Specialist- Field Service (Kuwaiti National)

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• To perform following specialized tasks on Generator Stator Winder (WST) & Rotor Winder (SGRS) either at workshop or project site.
• Enwinding Enhancement and insulation replacement.
• Tangential block installation.
• Outer Corona Protection (OCP) / End Corona Protection (ECP) repair.
• Rotor & Stator rewind and wedge replacement.
• Insulations repair after voltage drop test.
• Fine Tuning of the enwinding overhang.
• Retaining ring removal & installation.
• J-strap replacement.
• Axial Zone Block replacement and gas baffle repair or replacement.
• Pole Cross Over (PCO) replacement.
• Slipring replacement.
• Coper bar brazing.
• Power plant maintenance experience is an advantage.

WHAT YOU BRING / SKILLS, CAPABILITIES

• Electrical Educated from Technical School, College or University, Experience in Generator assembly works and stator & rotor rewinding in workshop or site work.
• Knowledgeable in Electrical testing and Experience of mechanical activities disassembly / Reassembly of Generator.
• Willing to work in shifts & travel to project sites within Middle East & even outside the region.
• Team player with good command in written and verbal communication in English
• Fresh Graduate or 1 to 2 years maintenance experience on prime movers in Power Station and/or Oil & Gas Industry.
• Willing to work in multi-cultural teams.
• Result driven, Team Player & self-motivated
