As a Geo-GIS Engineer within the Global Engineering division of Boskalis Offshore Energy, you will work for several business units, primarily focusing on the Subsea Cables business unit, which handles cable projects for offshore renewable energy. Your responsibilities will encompass both geo-engineering and GIS aspects of cable installation. You will collaborate with a multinational team of GIS and geo-specialists, each bringing unique expertise in GIS, geology, engineering geology, geotechnics, geophysics, and surveying.

• Involvement during tender stages to provide geo-engineering expertise.
• Offer geo-engineering support throughout projects, focusing on geohazard mitigation and opportunity maximization.
• Collect, manage, analyze, and process GIS data for dredging and offshore energy projects.
• Conduct spatial data analysis, prepare maps, graphs, and reports, and maintain GIS databases.
• Assist in improving business processes using GIS and FME, and act as the point of contact for GIS support on tenders and projects.
