SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS

The individual in this role will have:

  • Geologist with a minimum of a B.Sc. in Geology (or equivalent).
  • 5-10 years of related experience for a Geologist (including: wells/caverns; drilling/completions and workovers)
  • APEGA membership
  • Highly functional in mapping tools such as GeoScout to generate comprehensive mappings.
  • Log Analysis, DST Interpretation and Core analyses interpretation.
  • Solid understanding of government submissions for the provincial regulatory agencies.
  • Sample and Core Descriptions.
  • Field experience as a site geologist and/or an Oil and Gas Producer would be an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to travel to field locations occasionally.
