Description:
cFocus Software seeks a Geospatial Information Security Officer to join our program supporting DHS in Washington, DC, Capital Heights, MD, and Springfield, VA. This position has remote capabilities. This position requires active TS/SCI clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 9+ years of specialized Geospatial experience
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Active Security+CE certification.
Duties:
- Research, develop, implement, test, and review DHS geospatial information security posture in order to both protect geospatial data and ensure access is provisioned to appropriate personnel only.
- Provides recommendations to DHS geospatial mission/system/data owners and stakeholders on best practices for securing systems, applications and content.
- Prepares all relevant geospatial information security artifacts to include (but not limited to) Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA), Privacy Impact Assessments, and Authority to Operate (ATO).
