Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Senior Geotechnical Engineer with upholding standards in ground control / support, mining methods, and extraction sequence.
• Helping update and implement the Ground Control Management Plan to meet statutory guidelines.
• Supporting geotechnical risk assessments to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
• Analysing backfill QA/QC results to ensure optimal stope fill quality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contributing to mine planning by ensuring excavation designs, sequences, pillars, and ground support are tailored to local conditions.
• Championing safety through exemplary behaviour, proactive communication, and adherence to site HSEC standards and procedures
